The WV PSC issued an order today setting two public comment hearings concerning the July 2012 blackout:
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that that the Commission will hold the first public comment hearing in this investigation at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2012 in the Howard M. Cunningham Hearing Room, Commission offices, 201 BrooksStreet, Charleston, West Virginia.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Commission will hold a second public comment hearing at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2012 in the Clarksburg-Harrison Library, Public Meeting Room – Waldomore, 404 W. Pike Street, Clarksburg, West Virginia.
So if you have concerns you would like to express to the PSC and the power companies concerning the reliability (or unreliability) of WV’s electrical system, or if you have a PV system with battery back up and would like to share your experiences with real reliability with the PSC, make it to one of these two hearings and let the Commission know what you think.
