I’ll have reports on this line occasionally because everyone in WV will be paying for the MAPP line. I just thought you might like to know what the people in Dorchester County think of MAPP.
Also note the really dumb quote from the power company at the end of the article saying that the environmentalists want to take away your computer and big screen TV. These guys get paid lots of money, surely they could come up with a better argument than that.
Note also that PEPCO officials are now saying that MAPP is needed to fix grid problems on the Eastern Shore instead of making the more general “grid reliability” argument they were making last year. Think this has anything to do with PJM dropping the entire section of MAPP that connects to NJ through Delaware because there was no need for the line?
