Want to Support the WV PSC’s Staff Motion to Dismiss the PATH Application?

If you support the WV PSC staff’s Motion to Dismiss the PATH application, whether you are currently an intervenor in the case or not, why not write or fax the WV PSC with your support for the motion?  The staff’s motion asks the PSC to require AEP/Allegheny and PJM Interconnection to present a complete and accurate assessment of all the alternatives to PATH.  There are now at least two alternatives before PJM that are more effective and less expensive than PATH.  The PSC staff presents both of these alternatives, Dominion’s Alternative 1 and the Liberty proposals that avoids VA, WV and MD completely, as better projects that deserve to be analyzed by the WV PSC.

Read the Motion here, to see if it makes sense to you.

If you are not an official intervenor in the case, you can still write to the PSC with your opinions on the PATH case.  You are classified as a “protestant” in the case.  You can fax your filing directly to the PSC and save yourself a stamp.

With the filing of the Commission’s staff’s current motion, we are at a crucial turning point in the WV case.  Even it you live in another state, let your voice be heard.  If you have wanted to participate in the fight against PATH, but just don’t have a lot of time, now is your chance.

All you need to do is tell the PSC that you support the WV PSC Staff’s Motion to Dismiss.  Don’t forget to send a copy to Governor Tomblin as well.  The Governor appoints all the WV PSC Commissioners, so they listen very carefully to what he has to say.
