AEP/Allegheny Want Another Delay in PATH PSC Case

Here it is.  They want another delay.  AEP/Allegheny want to push the deadline for a final order in the WV PSC case back again, for the fourth time, from July 28, 2011 to February 9, 2012.

Once again, they claim there is magic PJM information that will save their case.

AEP/Allegheny’s lawyers make an absolute mess of an attempted response to the PSC staff’s motion to dismiss.

We have seen supplemental information on top of supplemental information filed on top of the original application filed in May 2009.  That original application was based on 2007 data.  At this point, no one can tell what is relevant or correct any more.

The Commissioners need to say enough, and, as the PSC staff said, make the power companies start again with a comprehensive and accurate application which meets the requirements of WV law, not the whims of PJM Interconnection.
