Keryn has put her FERC Challenge information together with the MD Chamber of Commerce’s late filing as an intervenor with the MD PSC’s addled “congestion” petition and has come up with a very interesting post on StopPATH WV.
It turns out that the same law firm that represents the MD Chamber of Commerce also turned up on 2009 invoices as lobbying the MD PSC directly about the PATH case. One wonders what directly lobbying the MD PSC means (if it doesn’t lead directly to ethics problems for the attorneys involved). Could it mean a more or less direct connection between the MD PSC staff’s goofy “congestion costs” petition and the Chamber’s citing “eye catching” congestion costs in its recent late filed petition to intervene?
Whatever it means, it stinks.
