Power Companies Just Don’t Like PSC Commissioners Who Do Their Jobs

Here’s a story from the Washington Post about the appointment of a new PSC Commissioner in DC.  The new appointee is a former People’s Counsel (Washington’s Consumer Advocate) who took strong stands against rate hikes and poor line maintenance by PEPCO, the only power company in DC.

PEPCO went all frownie face and whined to Mayor Gray about his appointment.

Here in WV, Acting Gov. Tomblin can make a bold statement of his own n favor of strong and innovative energy policy by appointing Robert Rodecker to the WV PSC to replace current expired commissioner Jon McKinney.  Have you contacted Mr. Tomblin yet to urge him to appoint Robert Rodecker to the WV PSC?
