APCo Discussing Settlement in WV PSC Power Plant Case

Here is the APCo filing at the WV PSC today concerning witness scheduling for the hearing starting July 16 in the Mitchell/Amos power plant case.

But look at the first paragraph of the filing:

All of the parties to these consolidated proceedings have participated in settlement discussions, the most recent meeting occurring the afternoon of July 9, 2013. To date, no settlement has been agreed to, although discussions are continuing. The parties will report any developments to the Commission should they occur.

It looks like AEP’s WV companies have begun settlement talk with other parties in the case.

  1. And FE is still sitting over there in the corner with their arms folded and that “Doesn’t play well with others!” sign on its back. But then again, it looks like they paid dearly for that privilege.
